Wisconsin's Travis Rutt takes home Big Ten Wrestler of the Week laurels after winning four bouts, including three over ranked opponents, in the fourth-ranked Badgers' four dual wins over the weekend. Rutt, ranked 12th in the country at 184 pounds, started the weekend with an 8-6 decision over No. 16 Andrew Saunders of UNC Greensboro in Wisconsin's 34-12 dual win on Friday. The junior followed with three wins on Sunday at the ACC Challenge, including a 9-1 major decision over 11th-ranked Tommy Spellman of No. 19 Virginia Tech, an 8-3 decision against North Carolina's Antonio Giorgio and a 13-6 decision over No. 15 Jason McCroskey of Tennessee-Chattanooga. The weekly award marks the first of Rutt's career.
