Humphrey, ranked No. 1 in the 141-pound weight class, earns his first Big Ten Wrestler of the Week honor after posting a 4-0 mark last week to help Ohio State to four dual meet victories. On Friday against 16th-ranked Lehigh, Humphrey squared off with No. 15 Seth Ciasulli in a dual that ended with Humphrey claiming a 7-1 decision and leading the Buckeyes to a 22-12 victory. On Sunday in the Buckeye Duals, the senior guided OSU to three dominating dual victories. Individually, Humphrey pinned two opponents, Findlay’s Josh Falk and Cleveland State’s Ronald Butler and also defeated Notre Dame College’s Adam Koballa by a 5-3 decision, marking his 100th career win.

Pataky wins his first Big Ten Wrestler of the Week honor following a three-win week in which he led the Nittany Lions to a 3-0 mark in Sunday’s Sprawl & Brawl Duals. The No. 6-ranked Pakaty opened the day by winning a 6-3 dual over Rutgers’ Vincent Dellefave, helping PSU to an 18-17 victory. In PSU’s second dual of the day, a 36-6 win over Harvard, the junior pinned Steven Keith for six points toward his team’s total. In the team’s final dual against No. 15 Edinboro, Pataky battled to a 4-0 win over the eighth-ranked 125-pounder Eric Morrill as the Nittany Lions won the dual, 22-9.
