- Won the 133-pound title at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, helping No. 5 Ohio State win the 32-team event for the second consecutive year
- Pinned his first four opponents, winning by fall against Michigan’s Rosario Bruno (3:00), Air Force’s Dylan Hyder (1:57), Northern Iowa’s Levi Wolfensperger (0:58) and Cal Poly’s Devin Lotito (0:39)
- Earned a 12-1 major decision against No. 8 Nathan McCormick of Missouri to win the 133-pound title
- Named Most Outstanding Wrestler of the invitational
- Currently ranked first nationally at 133 pounds
- Collects his first weekly award of the season and fourth overall
