Schlatter won both matches last weekend as Minnesota improved to 7-0 with victories against Iowa State and Nebraska.  On Friday against the Cyclones, Schlatter upset top-ranked Trent Paulson, 5-4, at 157 pounds. The sophomore's win gave the Golden Gophers a 7-4 lead en route to the 21-13 win against Iowa State.  Paulson marked the highest ranked opponent a Minnesota wrestler had beaten in a dual meet in the past two seasons.

On Sunday against Nebraska, Schlatter gave the Golden Gophers a 16-4 halftime lead with a 12-5 decision against Chris Oliver.  Schlatter is now 16-2 on the year with a perfect 7-0 record in dual meets.
