PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Four Big Ten teams have earned rankings in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced on Tuesday.

Defending Big Ten Champion Wisconsin garners the conference's highest ranking at No. 7, while Michigan State follows at No. 21, Minnesota checks in at No. 26 and Indiana opens the season at No. 27. Ohio State is receiving votes in the first poll of 2010.

The 2010 Big Ten men's cross country season begins this weekend, as seven conference teams head to their first meets of the season on Friday.
