Purdue's White Earns Big Ten Runner of the Week Honors

PARK RIDGE, Ill. - The Big Ten Conference named Purdue's Charles White as its recipient of the men's cross country Runner of the Week honor on Tuesday.

Purdue's Charles White earns his first career Big Ten Runner of the Week honor after helping the Boilermakers take the team title at the IPFW Invitational on Saturday. White finished the 8,000-meter race in 24:12, eclipsing his previous career-best time by more than 30 seconds and marking the fastest 8K by a Purdue runner in more than two seasons. He also took the race's individual title, his first at Purdue.
