Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week:
Andrew Poore, Indiana

Andrew Poore was tabbed Runner of the Week after leading the Indiana men’s cross country team to convincing team title at the Indiana Intercollegiate on Friday. Poore finished just one second behind the race winner, completing the 8,000-meter course in 24:46. The Hoosier sophomore paced a Hoosier top-five that finished within 15 seconds of the race winner, taking places two through six. The award marks the first for Poore’s career.

Women’s Co-Cross Country Runners of the Week:
Emily MacLeod, Michigan State
R-Jr. - Loveland, Ohio - Mt. Notre Dame

Michigan State’s Emily MacLeod earns her first weekly laurel after posting a first-place finish at the Spartan Invitational on Friday afternoon. The Loveland, Ohio native crossed the finish line in 21:07, a full 12 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Her time also achieves a new personal record in the 6,000-meter event.
