PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Indiana's Andy Bayer has been named Big Ten men's cross country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Andy Bayer takes home Big Ten men's cross country Runner of the Week honors after leading Indiana to the team title at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational on Saturday. The second weekly accolade of Bayer's career comes on the heels of a second-place individual performance in the 8,000-meter race. The sophomore turned in a time of 23:30, the best of any Big Ten runner at the event. The 25th-ranked Hoosiers took down six other ranked teams, including No. 6 Wisconsin and No. 18 Michigan State.
