Rombough posted a career-best 8,000-meter time of 24:10.12 to finish second this past week at the Jim Drews Invitational, a field that included top-ranked Wisconsin. The sophomore's finish marked the first time in his career that he was the Gophers' top runner.
This is Rombough's first career weekly honor from the conference office.
