Track Athlete of the Week 
David Kendziera, Illinois
Sr. – Mount Prospect, Ill. – Prospect
• Finished first in the 110-meter hurdles (13.52 seconds) and 400-meter hurdles (49.92) at the Jim Click Shootout in Arizona
• Named the Jim Click Shootout Male Athlete of the Meet and leads the Big Ten in both hurdle events, as well as clocked the second fastest 400-meter hurdles time in the NCAA and the third fastest 110-meter hurdles time in the nation
• The 2016-17 Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns his third Big Ten Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award and the first of the season

Field Athlete of the Week

Jr. – Chandler, Ariz. – Corona Del Sol
• Finished first and tied the Maryland high jump school record at the Virginia Quad Meet with a final mark of 2.24 meters
• Final mark leads the Big Ten and ranks fourth in the NCAA
• Collects his first Big Ten Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week plaudit
