The NCAA DI Cross Country Men’s National Coaches’ Preseason Poll was unveiled on Tuesday, with six Big Ten teams receiving votes among the top 30.
Wisconsin, the defending Big Ten Champion, enters the season ranked No. 7 in the preseason poll, followed by No. 23 Michigan State and No. 27 Illinois. Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota all earned votes in the ballot.
The 2017 Big Ten Men’s Cross Country season will commence on Friday, Sept. 1, with Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers all in action.
