Penn wins her third career Big Ten Player of the Week accolade after leading the conference in points, finishing third among all players in rebounding, and tied for third in steals and blocks last week. She averaged 21.5 points per game, 12.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 3.0 steals, while shooting 51 percent from the floor. She recorded 21 points with 13 rebounds, five blocks and two steals against Penn State on Thursday night before pouring in 22 points, corralling 12 boards and totaling four steals and two blocks against nationally ranked Iowa on Sunday afternoon. With two double-doubles on the week, Penn has a conference-leading 14 on the season.

Kionna Kellogg, Minnesota

Kellogg wins her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor after helping Minnesota to its first Big Ten wins of the season last week. The freshman was a force on the glass against Northwestern and Michigan, averaging 14.0 rebounds, along with 8.0 points, per contest in victories over the Wildcats and Wolverines. Against Northwestern, she finished with eight points, but tallied 15 rebounds - eight on the offensive end - in a five-point win. Versus Michigan, she again posted eight points, but her 13 rebounds and two steals helped Minnesota knock off first-place Michigan.
