Jaeschke is named Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time this season after averaging 25.5 points per game in a pair of Northwestern victories last week. Finishing with two 20-point outings, the senior also averaged 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in wins over Illinois and Ohio State. Against the Illini, she scored 22 points and hit the game-winning jumper with 1.4 seconds remaining in an 80-79 win. Versus the Buckeyes, Jaeschke poured in 29 points, along with seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in a 74-68 triumph in Columbus.

Freshman of the Week:
Maggie Lucas, Penn State
5-9, G, Narberth, Pa./Germantown Academy
Lucas averaged 20.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals in two games last week, helping keep Penn State in first place of the conference standings. Against Michigan on Thursday, the freshman poured in 23 points, chipping in four rebounds in 25 minutes of action in a road win. At No. 20/22 Iowa on Sunday, she finished with 18 points, three rebounds and a steal to knock off the nationally ranked Hawkeyes. It is the seventh Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor on the season for Lucas, who is fifth in the conference in scoring at 16.7 points per game.
