OSU's Davenport Earns Final Weekly Honor of the Season

Davenport led the Buckeyes to their third consecutive Big Ten title with two performances of 25 points or more this past week.  Last Thursday, the two-time defending Big Ten Player of the Year netted 26 points at home against Penn State on 10-of-18 (.556) shooting.  She added eight rebounds, four assists and one block in the effort, which enabled the Buckeyes to earn a share of the conference title.  Davenport then led OSU to the outright championship on Sunday with a 26-point, 15-rebound performance at Michigan - her 46th career double-double.  For the week, Davenport averaged 25.5 points on 17-of-30 (.567) shooting, as well as 11.5 rebounds 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks.

This is her fifth weekly honor this season and the 13th of her career, which is second all-time behind the 17 of Penn State's Kelly Mazzante (2001-04).
