Pregame:  We are courtside at Conseco Fieldhouse getting ready for the first semifinal of the night between #3 Purdue and #7 Wisconsin...

(20:00, 1st Half):  Wisconsin wins the jump ball and we are under way.  Badgers score on the first possession and lead 2-0.

(14:45, 1st Half):  Purdue opens up a 9-7 lead as we head into our first media timeout.  Purdue's ball when we return.

(11:20, 1st Half):  Purdue 17, Wisconsin 12 at the under-12 media timeout.  Badgers ball coming back out.

(8:57, 1st Half):  Back-to-back 3's per team as Purdue leads 22-19 ...

(7:49, 1st Half):  Purdue 22, Wisconsin 21 at the under-8 media timeout.

(5:45, 1st Half):  Wisconsin 25, Purdue 22 as the Badgers have reeled off six straight to force Sharon Versyp to call timeout for Purdue.

(3:54, 1st Half):  With one second left on the shot clock, Wisconsin is fouled while attempting a three-pointer ... Badgers lead 25-24 and will shoot THREE free throws out of timeout.

(1:30, 1st Half):  Wisconsin calls timeout leading 30-29.

(Halftime):  Purdue leads Wisconsin at halftime 31-30 ... back for more in 15 minutes.

(17:14, 2nd Half):  Purdue scores the first 7 points of the second half leading Wisconsin to call timeout.  Purdue 38, Wisconsin 30.

(15:46, 2nd Half):  Under-16 media timeout ... Purdue 38, Wisconsin 32.

(12:25, 2nd Half):  Timeout, Wisconsin.  Purdue has opened up a 49-33 lead and has outscored Wisconsin 19-4 this half.

(11:16, 2nd Half):  Wisconsin scores four straight to cut their deficit to 12 points as we go to the under-12 media timeout.


 

 

(7:54, 2nd Half):  Purdue has opened a 17-point lead.  The Boilermakers have outscored the Badgers 30-14 this half.  Purdue 61, Wisconsin 44.

(5:42, 2nd Half):  Purdue calls timeout up 65-49.

(3:38, 2nd Half):  Under-4 media timeout ... Purdue has opened up a 20-point lead ... Purdue 69, Wisconsin 49.

Final score from Indianapolis ... Purdue 70, Wisconsin 56 -- Purdue advances to the championship game tomorrow evening (5:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2)  ... Ohio State vs. Iowa is up next on Big Ten Network!
