The Ohio State women's basketball team hosts an annual clinic with the Girl Scouts Seal of Ohio Council.
The 2005 clinic attracted 200 area scouts to learn basketball fundamentals and participate in a questions and answers session as well as an autograph session.
Ohio State student-athletes serve as the counselors for the clinic.
The Girl Scouts also participate in the team's annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration held each year in February.
In addition to the clinics, members of the Buckeye basketball team also visit a local elementary school to read with Columbus-area children.
