Banks helped Wisconsin to a 1-0 start this past week with a career-high 28 points in the Badgers' 91-54 win at Air Force.  The UW junior shot 69 percent on 9-of-13 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point land.  She was 7-of-9 from the free-throw line and posted a team-high seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in just 23 minutes of action.  A native of Indianapolis., Ind., Banks earns her first career Player of the Week award and the Big Ten's first honor of the 2006-07 season.
