Bowen averaged 25.5 points over the weekend while leading Michigan State to a pair of road victories, including an 82-73 overtime win at No. 3/3 Notre Dame. The 5-7 junior scored 23 points against the Fighting Irish on Thursday, including a game-tying three-pointer with 13.6 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Bowen also had five rebounds and tied her career high with four steals while playing all 45 minutes against Notre Dame. The Dansville, Mich., native followed that performance with a 28-point outburst while leading a second-half rally in an MSU victory at Cincinnati Saturday. She scored 18 points in the second half and added three assists, three rebounds and a steal as Michigan State closed the game with a 22-2 run and claimed the 77-61 win. Bowen, a Preseason First Team All-Big Ten selection by the League coaches, has now scored 84 points in her last three games (28 ppg).
