Valentin scored 78 points (26.0 ppg) for the Hoosiers over the course of its three-game road swing this past week, highlighted by a career-high 30 points against Indiana State on December 6. Against the Sycamores, Valentin was 7-for-9 from three-point range. Her seven treys ranks tied for third in school history. When the Hoosiers traveled to Maine on December 10, the Bloomington, Ind., native nearly made it back-to-back 30-point games, pouring in a game-high 28 points, including a 12-for-12 effort from the free throw line, all of which came in the second half. In the final game of the week, Valentin carried the team once again at Boston University on Sunday, finishing with her first career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

On the week, the junior guard shot .658 (25-38) from the field, including an impressive .714 (10-14) clip from beyond the arc, and averaged 6.7 rebounds per game as well.

Valentin earns her first career Big Ten Player of the Week honor and is the first Hoosier to be honored since Jenny DeMuth on December 29, 2003.
