Offensive Player of the Week
Saskia Mueller, Ohio State

Mueller scored two goals, including the game-winner in the Buckeyes' 4-2 victory over No. 11 Boston College last weekend to earn Player of the Week honors. Her goals were both scored on penalty corners just over a minute apart in the second half. Mueller notched the game-tying goal at 56:10 and and then knocked in her sixth game-winning goal of her career for the 4-2 victory. The Zuerich, Switzerland, native claims her second Offensive Player of the Week laurel as she was also honored on Oct. 18, 2004.


Defensive Player of the Week
Lindsay Quintiliani, Ohio State

Quintiliani picks up her first Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week accolade after holding No. 11 Boston College to just two goals and recording her first career win in a 4-2 road victory last weekend. The Mountain Top, Pa., native allowed one goal early in each of the halves, before settling down and recording a total of four saves in the game. The Buckeyes claimed their first season-opening victory since the 2001 campaign.
