Offensive Player of the Week

Jeamie Deacon, Michigan State

So., B, Wexford, Ireland/Newton School Waterford

 

Deacon led the Spartans in scoring over the weekend with two goals and an assist, helping No. 19 Michigan State remain undefeated on the season. The Wexford, Ireland, native had a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win over Miami (Ohio), before scoring the opening goal in the 3-0 victory over No. 20 Boston University on Sunday. Deacon leads all Spartans with 15 shots, 10 points and four goals on the season. This is Deacon's first Player of the Week accolade.

Defensive Player of the Week

Lissa Munley, Iowa

Jr., GK, Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood

 

Munley recorded her second shutout of the season, including her second against a top-five opponent. The Hawkeyes defeated No. 4 Duke on the road, 2-0, on Sunday. Munley had seven saves against the Blue Devils, one week after shutting out No. 2 Wake Forest. The Mountain Top, Pa., native earns her second Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week accolade.
