Offensive Player of the Week
Candice Cooper, Northwestern

Cooper was named Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a total of eight goals, including two back-to-back hat tricks to lead the Wildcats to a trio of victories last week. After scoring two goals in a 4-2 win over Kent State, the 2003 Second Team All-Big Ten honoree followed with consecutive three-goal performances against Ohio and Fairfield. Cooper finished the week tallying 17 points with eight goals and one assist to move into 18th place all-time in scoring at Northwestern with 62 points.


Defensive Player of the Week
Ryan Woolsey, Indiana
JR, B, St. Louis, Mo./John Burroughs

Woosley earns Defensive Player of the Week accolades after helping the Hoosiers to a 2-0 record over the weekend, including a 4-3 overtime victory against Southwest Missouri State. In a 3-0 shutout over Ball State, she led the IU defense, which held the Cardinals to only three shots on goal and gave the Hoosiers their first shutout of the season. Against the Bears, Woosley again dominated, making key defensive stops in the overtime win.
