Offensive Player of the Week
Floor Rijpma, Michigan State

Spartan senior Floor Rijpma tallied four goals for Michigan State in two victories during the weekend. Rijpma scored three times for No. 8 Michigan State in a 5-1 win over No. 14 American Saturday afternoon. Rijpma enjoyed a successful effort against Ohio on Sunday, when she added a goal and the game-winning assist in the Spartans' 5-2 victory. Rijpma averages 2.50 points per game, which is tied for second in the conference, and is second in the conference with four goals. It is the second weekly honor for Rijpma in her career.

Defensive Player of the Week
Mutsa Mutembwa, Indiana

Mutsa Mutembwa was the leader of a tough Hoosier defense that allowed just two goals during the weekend, which was highlighted by Indiana's upset victory of No. 13 Louisville on Sunday. In the 2-1 win, Mutembwa made two defensive saves in the first half to keep the game scoreless. In Friday's match against Ohio, the Hoosiers surrendered just one goal, and Mutembwa added some offense for Indiana as she posted four shots. Mutembwa and the Hoosier defense has teamed for a 1.61 goals-against average, which is tops in the conference, this season. It is the first weekly honor for the junior from Harare, Zimbabwe.

Freshman of the Week
Sarah Drake, Iowa

Hawkeye freshman Sarah Drake earns the first weekly honor of her career after accounting for four of Iowa's six goals on the weekend. Against No. 17 Massachusetts on Saturday, Drake scored twice and then added another score and an assist in Iowa's 3-1 win over Boston on Sunday, giving her seven points for the weekend. The current team leader in goals, Drake ranks eighth in the conference in points and is fourth in the Big Ten in goals.
