Indiana and Northwestern Earn Weekly Accolades

Offensive Player of the Week
Quinn led Northwestern to a perfect weekend winning two matches over Miami (Ohio) and Sacred Heart. The Watertown, Mass., native netted four goals on nine shots for the weekend. Against the Redhawks on Friday, Quinn notched two goals in the 3-1 win. The senior added two more goals in the weekly finale leading the Wildcats to an 8-0 win over Pioneers. This is Quinn’s first career weekly award.

Alex Mann, Indiana
Mann had a stellar weekend for Indiana saving eight shots in two wins. On Saturday against Missouri State, the Telford, Pa., native saved three shots to lead the Hoosiers to a 5-1 win. The sophomore saved five shots against St. Louis to earn her first career shutout victory by score of 4-0. This is Mann’s first career weekly accolade.

Emily Kyle, Northwestern
Kyle was instrumental in Northwestern’s two victories over the weekend saving nine shots. The San Francisco, Calif., native had eight saves in a 3-1 win over Miami (Ohio) on Friday and followed that performance with another save to preserve her first career shutout in an 8-0 win over Sacred Heart. It was the first shutout for the Wildcats since October 9, 2005. Kyle now has 277 career saves, ranking her fifth all-time in NU history. This is Kyle’s first career weekly honor.
