Offensive Player of the Week

Caroline Blaum, Iowa
Sr., F, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. / Wyoming Seminary

Blaum helped the Hawkeyes to a perfect 2-0 weekend with wins over Stanford and Pacific.  Against the Cardinal on Saturday, Blaum scored a goal on three shots in the 3-2 victory.  On Sunday, the Wilkes-Barre, Pa., native added two goals and an assist in Iowa's 8-0 win over the Tigers.  This is Blaum's first career weekly award.

Defensive Player of the Week

Elissa Unger, Michigan State
Jr., GK, Reading, Pa., / Exeter

Unger led the Michigan State defense tallying 11 saves in two wins over the weekend.  Against No. 18 Boston, the junior had 11 saves and preserved a 2-0 win for the Spartans.  On Sunday, the Reading, Pa., native rejected four shots as MSU went on to win 6-1 over New Hampshire.  Unger played all 140 minutes on the weekend and recorded a .917 save percentage.  This is the first weekly accolade of Unger's career.
