Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Lucy Clayton, Ohio State

Clayton earns Player of the Week honors after leading the Buckeyes to a 2-0 record last week, including a 4-3 overtime victory over 14th-ranked Louisville. She posted her first hat trick of the season and fourth of her career, tallying all three goals against the Cardinals. In a 2-0 shutout over Missouri State, Clayton had a team-best 14 shots, but was held scoreless as the MSU goalie came up with 21 saves in the game. Clayton leads the Buckeyes in goals with five and is tied for the team lead in points (11).
Natalie Berrena, Penn State
Sr., M/F, State College, Pa./State College Area
Berrena led Penn State to three consecutive shutouts, downing Temple, Lafayette and West Chester last week while also extending the Nittany Lions' win streak to nine games. She finished the week tallying 10 shots, five assists and two goals. Berrena, who picks up her first Player of the Week honor, currently ranks third on the team in points (23) and goals (5).
Defensive Player of the Week
Sara Cahill, Penn State
Sr., B, Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville
Cahill anchored a PSU defense that did not allow a goal in three games last week to earn her first Defensive Player of the Week accolade. She helped keep Penn State's opponents in check as the Nittany Lions gave up just 11 shots over the three-game span. Cahill also tallied her first goal of the year in a 7-0 victory over Lafayette.
