Offensive Player of the Week

Floor Rijpma, Michigan State
Jr., MF, Bunnik, Netherlands/St. Bonisatius College


Rijpma earns her first career weekly award after leading Michigan State to two wins over the weekend and tallying a team-high 10 points.  The Bunnik, Netherlands, native helped the Spartans to their second conference win, scoring a career-high three goals against Ohio State. Her three goals marked the first hat trick for MSU this season. Rijpma recorded her fourth goal of the weekend off a penalty stroke in a shutout win over Temple. She leads the team with 13 goals and 29 points.

Defensive Player of the Week

Lauren Pfeiffer, Iowa
Sr., B/MF, Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape

Pfeiffer led the stingy Iowa defense in shutout victories over Northwestern and Missouri State. The Mt. Laurel, N.J., native commanded the defense that only allowed Northwestern four shots and three penalty corners all game. On Sunday, the Hawkeye defense stymied another opponent, defeating Missouri State, 8-0.  The Hawkeye senior collects her second career weekly award.
