Offensive Player of the Week
Natalie Berrena, Penn State
Sr., F, State College, Pa./State College Area

Berrena earns Player of the Week laurels after scoring two goals on five shots and leading Penn State to a 4-0 win over 12th-ranked Iowa last weekend. The Nittany Lions picked up their 13th straight victory, marking the second-longest win streak in program history. Defensive Player of the Week
Beth Riley, Michigan
Jr., GK, Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra Area

Riley allowed just one goal through 170 minutes of play to claim back-to-back wins over ranked opponents last week and earn Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors. In a 1-0 victory over No. 10 Michigan State, the Palmyra, Pa., native made four stops against the Spartans to collect her third shutout of the season. She followed with another stellar performance against No. 15 Connecuticut. With the score knotted at 1-1 through 100 minutes of play, the game went to a stroke-off. The junior goalkeeper allowed just one of four UConn penality stroke opportunities to give the Wolverines a 2-1 win. Riley collects her second career weekly accolade as she was also honored on Oct. 20, 2003.
