Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Chelsea Armstrong, Northwestern

Armstrong claims her third Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season and of her career in leading No. 18 Northwestern to a pair of victories last week. On Tuesday, Armstrong hoisted eight shots toward the net and recorded an assist in the Wildcats' 3-0 victory over California. Armstrong and Northwestern then traveled to Penn State on Friday, where her assist and game-winning goal were the difference in a 3-2 victory, Northwestern's first win against Penn State since 1997.

Maria Briones, Ohio State

Briones helped No. 20 Ohio State secure two wins last week with five points. On the road against Miami (OH) on Wednesday, Briones tallied one of five Buckeye goals in a 5-2 victory over the RedHawks. In Sunday's conference matchup with Iowa, the sophomore scored on her only shot attempt to break a scoreless tie, and then assisted on Ohio State's second goal in a 2-0 win. The weekly award is the first of her career.

Defensive Player of the Week
Elissa Unger, Michigan State

Unger wins her second Defensive Player of the Week award of the season and third of her career after a pair of victories for No. 8 Michigan State last weekend. On the road against Indiana on Friday, the senior made seven saves in a 6-2 Spartan win. Then, against in-state rival Central Michigan on Sunday, Unger posted a clean sheet, making six saves in a 2-0 victory over the Chippewas. The win extended Michigan State's winning streak to six.

Freshman of the Week
Berta Queralt, Ohio State
F, Barcelona, Spain/Institució Cultural del CIC
Queralt, Ohio State's season leader in points (33), goals (11) and assists (11), scored once in each of the Buckeyes' wins last week. On Wednesday, Queralt scored and assisted on another Ohio State goal in a 5-2 road victory against Miami (OH). On Sunday, Queralt added another goal to her weekly resume as the 20th-ranked Buckeyes earned a 2-0 conference victory over Iowa. This season, the freshman has scored in all but three of Ohio State's 13 games and has won Freshman of the Week honors four times.
