McCurdy earns her first career Player of the Week accolade after notching two goals in a 3-1 victory over Northwestern last weekend. She scored the Hawkeyes' first goal almost seven minutes into the game on a corner shot and then picked up her second game-winning goal of the season at the 22:06 mark. McCurdy has scored at least one point in eight out of the last 14 games this season for the Hawkeyes and currently leads the squad in four offensive categories - most goals (9), assists (6), total points (24) and shots (55).

Exner picks up her third career Defensive Player of the Week honor after leading the Hoosiers to 2-0 record last week, including a 2-1 double-overtime victory over Ohio State. The San Diego, Calif., ,native, who has started every game for the Hoosiers this season, opened the week tallying 10 saves in a 3-2 win over Louisville. Against the Buckeyes, she recorded a career-high 16 saves and allowed only one goal to slip past her. Exner currenly leads the Big Ten in save percentage (.823) and is only one victory away from becoming the all-time winningest goalkeeper in program history. The Hoosiers extended their win streak to 10 games, while also increasing their longest Big Ten winning streak in program history to four games.
