The Big Ten Conference announced the winners of the weekly field hockey awards on Monday. Ohio State's Berta Queralt won Offensive Player of the Week, teammate Jenn Sciulli won Defensive Player of the Week, and Michigan's Rachael Mack earned Freshman of the Week honors.
Offensive Player of the Week
Berta Queralt - Ohio State

Ohio State's Berta Queralt earns her first Offensive Player of the Week honor and sixth overall weekly award, having won Freshman of the Week five times last season. She helped lead the Buckeyes to two Big Ten victories against No. 7 Michigan State and No. 11 Penn State with six points on a goal and four assists. Against the Spartans, Queralt tallied a game-high five points with a goal and three assists. In the victory over the Nittany Lions, Queralt posted an assist on a penalty corner to help push Ohio State's lead to 2-0. In the Buckeyes' five-game winning streak, Queralt has totaled 20 points. On the season, she is second on the team in points with 32 and first in assists with 18.

Defensive Player of the Week
Jenn Sciulli - Ohio State
B - Jr. - Palmyra, Pa. - Palmyra
Sciulli claims her second Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season and of her career in leading No. 6 Ohio State to a pair of victories last week over No. 7 Michigan State and No. 11 Penn State. Against the Spartans, Sciulli had two defensive saves in the game, bringing her total to a career-high of six on the season. In the two conference victories, Sciulli was a main factor of the Buckeye defense that limited the Spartans to just eight shots and only four shots for the Nittany Lions. In Ohio State's five-game winning streak, the defense has allowed three goals on 24 shots.

Freshman Player of the Week
Rachael Mack - Michigan

Mack earns her fourth Freshman of the Week honor as she tallied her first career hat trick in Michigan's 4-3 overtime win against Northwestern on Friday afternoon. Mack scored two goals in the first half, both coming off passes from Paige Laytos. Then in overtime, Alicia Mayer fed Mack in the middle of the circle and the freshman beat Northwestern's goalkeeper to give the Wolverines the win and keep Michigan unbeaten in Big Ten play. Mack now has a team-best 12 goals and 26 points on the season.
