Offensive Player of the Week
Linda Haussener, Ohio State

Haussener scored three goals this past week, including the game-winning overtime goal against No. 18 Michigan. The sophomore midfielder opened the weekend, tallying the first goal in a 4-0 shutout over Virginia Commonwealth. She followed with another top performance against the Wolverines, tallying the opening goal of the game to give the Buckeyes a 1-0 lead. With the score tied at 3-3 in overtime, Haussener scored her second game-winning goal of the season to give OSU its third OT win in the last five games. The Buckeyes also earned their first win in Ann Arbor since the 1996 season. With the six-point performance last weekend, Haussener has more than doubled her career point total this season, ranking second on the team with 31 points.
Defensive Player of the Week
Stephanie Yuhasz, Michigan State
GK, Sr., West Bloomfield, Mich./Mercy
Yuhasz earns her first Player of the Week accolade after posting two consecutive shutouts and leading the Spartans to a 2-0 record last week. The senior goalkeeper tallied four saves in each game last week, leading the Spartans to a 2-0 victory over Central Michigan and a 1-0 shutout against Indiana. Yuhasz has now notched four shutouts on the season, which ranks third in the conference.
