With their 2-1 victory over the visiting Ohio State Buckeyes, the Michigan State Spartans earned at least a share of the Big Ten Championship Friday night at the Ralph Young Field in East Lansing, Mich. It is the fourth time they have earned the regular-season crown and the first conference championship since 2004. The Spartans have a chance to earn the outright title on Sunday when they host the Michigan Wolverines in a Noon ET contest.

Michigan State scored twice in the first 35 minutes, with seniors Floor Rijpma and Jeamie Deacon finding the net for the Spartans. Ohio State would cut into the lead in the second half with a goal by freshman Berta Queralt, but the Buckeyes could get no closer.

The Michigan State-Ohio State matchup will be televised by the Big Ten Network in tape delay at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday. Michigan State's game with Michigan will also be televised in tape delay by the Big Ten Network at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
