Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Caitlin McCurdy, Iowa
Fr., F, Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood

McCurdy was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to give Iowa a 2-1 victory and snapping the Hoosiers' 10-game win streak. She scored her 10th goal, while also notching her third game-winner of the season. McCurdy, who earns her second consecutive weekly honor, currently ranks sixth in the league with 26 points.

Inge Kaars Sijpestijn, Michigan State
Fr., B, Wassenaar, Holland/Rijnlands Lyceum
Kaars Sijpestijn shares Player of the Week laurels after leading the Spartan attack in a 4-1 victory over Northwestern last weekend. She fired seven of MSU's 18 shots and found the back of the cage twice to give the Spartans their first Big Ten win of the season. She currently ranks second on the Michigan State squad with eight goals and 20 points.

Defensive Player of the Week
Molly Schriver, Penn State
Sr., B, Kenilworth, Ill./New Trier

Schriver led the Nittany Lion defense as they recorded shutouts over Ohio State and Bucknell last week. Schriver and the PSU defense handed No. 9 Ohio State its first shutout of the year, holding the Buckeyes to only seven shots in the game. Against Bucknell, Scchriver recorded a shot on offense, and held the Bison to four shots in the contest. Schriver collects her second career Player of the Week accolade as she was also honored on Oct. 4, 2004.
