Offensive Player of the Week

Lauren Pfeiffer, Iowa
Sr., B/MF, Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape

 
Pfeiffer led No. 10 Iowa to a win over eighth-ranked Michigan State Saturday afternoon in East Lansing. The Mt. Laurel, N.J., native scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime to defeat the Spartans, 4-3, in overtime. Pfeiffer picks up her third career weekly laurel and second this season after earning the honor on defense on Oct. 6.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jen Beaumont, Penn State
Sr., GK, Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West

Beaumont recorded two shutouts against Big Ten competition this weekend as Penn State clinched the regular season title. The Chalfont, Pa., native recorded nine saves against Michigan on Sunday, including one glove save off a penalty shot. She also made three consecutive saves in 12 seconds for the Nittany Lions. The senior goalkeeper made one save to preserve a 1-0 shutout over Indiana on Friday. In conference play, Beaumont has a 0.21 goals-against-average and has saved 95.7 percent of shots faced. Beaumont earns her fourth career accolade and second of the season.
