The 2008 Big Ten women's golf season will commence this weekend as six of the 11 squads hit the links. Among the schools competing are Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue and Wisconsin.
On Saturday, the Boilermakers travel to Orlando, Fla. for a meeting with Central Florida. Headed to Peoria, Ariz. are the Hoosiers and Badgers as they face off for the Westbrook Cup. Playing Monday through Wednesday at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., will be the Buckeyes and the Spartans. The Hawkeyes will also tee off Monday through Wednesday as they journey to the Baja Invitational in Ensenada, Mexico.
Regular season action continues up until April 25-27 when Penn State will host the Big Ten Championships.
