Sloan guided Illinois to a sixth-place tie at the Islander Spring Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas this past week to earn her first career weekly accolade. Her 230 three-round total finished eighth as an individual to record her first career Top 10 finish. The freshman fired off consistent rounds of 76-77-77 for a 76.7 average as the Lansing, Ill., native battled the flu during the final 18 holes of competition.
