Purdue's Laura Gonzalez-Escallon collects her first Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week award after tying for seventh at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate over the weekend. Gonzalez-Escallon posted a 1-under 215 at the tournament, helping the sixth-ranked Boilermakers tie for fifth. The sophomore opened the event with a 3-over 75 on Sunday but followed with a 4-under 68 on Monday. She shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday to remain at 1-under for the tournament.
