Laura Cilek, Iowa

Junior Laura Cilek tied for 23rd overall with a 54-hole total of 228, shooting rounds of 75, 77 and 76 for a 12-over par score at the Primm Valley Golf Course in Primm, Nevada last week. Cilek’s score helped her squad finish in the top half of the 16-team field at the Jackrabbit Invitational as the Hawkeyes posted a sixth-place finish with an overall score of 914 (302-306-306). This is the first Big Ten Golfer of the Week laurel for Cilek’s career.
