BIG TEN WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Hernandez shot consecutive rounds of 2-under par 70 to take the individual title at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas last week with a three-round score of 1-over-par 217.  It is Hernandez's first individual title of the 2006-07 season and the second of her collegiate career.  Purdue won the team championship thanks in part to the talented sophomore, finishing first in a field of 15 squads with a score of 907 (307-308-292). 

This is the first career Golfer of the Week award for Hernandez.
