Hernandez won her second consecutive tournament and the fourth of the season with a three-round total of 211 at the PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. Hernandez recorded Purdue's three-lowest rounds of the tournament, opening with an even-par 72, followed by a three-under 69 and finishing with a two-below par 70 to win the individual title by one stroke. Hernandez helped the Boilermakers to a second place finish, one stroke behind first place Oklahoma State and four strokes ahead of host and top-ranked Arizona State. It is Purdue's second-straight finish in front of the Sun Devils, after capturing the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on March 22. Hernandez collects her seventh career Big Ten Golfer of the Week award.
