2013 Big Ten Men's and Women's Golf Championships Information

April 11, 2013

Admission
There is no fee for admission to the 2013 Big Ten Golf Championships.

Facilities
The men's tournament will be contested on the award winning Pete Dye course, and the women's tourney will be held nearby on the historic Donald Ross Course. Golfweek Magazine ranked the Dye course and Ross course No. 1 and 2 respectively in the state of Indiana.

The Pete Dye course, which was named America's Best New Public Course in 2009 by Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine, was carefully carved on a dramatic hilltop offering a variety of elevation changes, rugged and dramatic terrain, narrow fairways and challenging bunkers. The historic Donald Ross course, which recently went through a $4.6 million restoration, is a parkland gem meandering up and down the rolling hills a few miles from the main resort.

Both courses have a history of hosting elite players and golf events. In 2010, the highly acclaimed Dye course hosted the PGA of America's Professional National Championship, won by Illinois Men's Golf Coach Mike Small. The Donald Ross course hosted the prestigious LPGA Championship in 1959 and 1960. In addition the Ross course also hosted the 1924 PGA Championship won by Walter Hagen. The Ross course will also be hosting the LPGA Legends in 2013.
