Northwestern wrapped up Friday's opening round of the 2017 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships with a three-stroke lead over second-place Wisconsin. The Wildcats carded an even-par 288, while Wisconsin fired a 3-over 291.
Michigan's Elodie Van Dievoet shot an opening round 3-under par 69, and owns a one-shot lead over Minnesota's Emie Peronnin and the Wildcats' Sarah Cho (-2). Northwestern's Stephanie Lau and the Badgers' Brooke Ferrell both shot a 1-under 70.
Michigan currently sits in third-place after compiling a team score of 295, followed by fourth-place Ohio State (296), fifth-place Michigan State (+10) and sixth-place Purdue (+11).
Saturday's second-round from TPC River's Bend will get underway at 8:30 a.m. ET.
