After Friday's opening round of play at the 2010 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships, Purdue finished with a one-over par 289 to take a five-stroke lead over second-place Ohio State heading into Friday's second round. Michigan State is third, firing an eight-over par 296, while Northwestern (+12, 300) is in fourth. Individually, Purdue's Laura Gonzalez-Escallon finished with a one-over 71 to lead the pack into the afternoon rounds.

At the conclusion of the second round of 18 on Friday, teams will be back to the tee at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday for the start of the third round.
