GLENCOE, Ill. - After shooting a 2-over 290 as a team in the second round, Michigan State has taken the lead at the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships. The Spartans' Caroline Powers carded a 2-under 70 and teammate Aimee Neff shot a 1-under 71 in the round to lead the charge.

Powers holds the individual lead with a two-round score of 142 (-2), sitting three strokes ahead of Northwestern's Alex Lederhausen and Purdue's Numa Gulyanamitta, who are tied for second at 145 (+1). Lederhausen posted the lowest individual total in round two, carding a 4-under 68.
