GLENCOE, Ill. - Michigan State sits in first place at the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships for the second consecutive round after compiling a team total of 295 in round three on Saturday. The Spartans hold a team total of 891 (+27) through three rounds, with Purdue two strokes behind at 893 (+29) entering the final round of competition.

Michigan State's Caroline Powers and Purdue's Numa Gulyanamitta are tied for the individual lead after round three with an even-par score of 216. Gulyanamitta turned in a score of 71 (-1) in the third round, while Powers shot a 2-over 74. Northwestern's Lauren Weaver carded the lowest score of the round with a 69 (-3).

The fourth and final round of the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships will begin at 8 a.m. CT on Sunday at Lake Shore Country Club.
