FINAL BIG TEN WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Hernandez won medalist honors at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational this past week with a total of 1-under-par 215 (72-70-73). The Purdue sophomore's second-round 70 was the lowest round by any golfer in the tournament. Last weekend marked the fourth consecutive tournament that Hernandez has finished first or tied for first individually, and the fifth time this season she has carded a season-best total of 215. Hernandez helped the Boilermakers win the event in the final tune-up before the Big Ten Championships at Michigan State.
