Purdue Advances to NCAA Championships

With a second place finish in the Central Regional, Purdue advances to the finals of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships. The Boilermaker squad totaled a 54-hole score of 871 and senior captain Maria Hernandez shared the top individual honors with UCLA's Maria Jose Uribe with the par shooting a three-round score of 208. In the West, Ohio State tied-for-eighth scoring 892 strokes and was edged in the playoffs missing the finals cut. Michigan State finished one stroke behind the Buckeyes turning in a score of 893 to claim 11th. Indiana ended the season with an 18th place finish in the East Regional recording 933 swings.
