Purdue Moves up to Second Place After Two Rounds at NCAA Women's Golf Championships

Results Through Round 2 | Live Scoring BRYAN, Texas - Purdue moved into second place on the second day of competition at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Thursday, sitting three strokes behind the leader entering Round 3. The Boilermakers' Numa Gulyanamitta tied for the second-best individual round of the day, firing a 2-under 70 to move into second place. Purdue's Laura Gonzalez-Escallon joins Gulyanamitta in the individual top 10, carding a 1-under 71 to climb into a tie for 10th through 36 holes. Minnesota moved into a tie for 11th after day two, while Ohio State stands in a tie for 20th. Friday's third round begins at 8 a.m. CT. The Buckeyes open the third round at 8 a.m., while the Gophers tee off beginning at 9:06 a.m. The Boilermakers begin their third round at 1:25 p.m.
