Gymnast of the Week
Carmelina Carabajal

Carabajal had Minnesota's highest individual score at the Cancun Classic with a 9.825 on the floor, placing fifth in the competition.  She also had the best Gopher vault score of the meet with a 9.700.  Carabajal's best overall finish was in the all around competition where she placed third with a score of 38.850.  This is Carabajal's second career weekly accolade.
